St
Patrick’s Square marks a turning point in my career as an artist. It was here
that I attended my first Big Draw event in Auckland and I did so without
knowing how much this would inspire me to learn to draw and sketch and to better
myself as an artist. And I will forever owe this to Esquires, a meet up group
for sketchers that I am now a proud member of. Time and time again, since that
eventful day I have returned to St Patrick’s Square to draw and I have no doubt
that I will continue to return there time and time again to sketch until I
leave this beautiful city. Here a few quick figure sketches I did on my latest
visit there.
